Custum Fock for SIFF
Nancy Guppy, the host of a Seattle’s Art Zone, asked me to make her a custom frock to wear to the Seattle International Film Festival red carpet event in 2015.
We met and worked out a few guidelines for the design and inspiration images. When I started working on making her muslin sloper, I realized I didn’t have a dress form in her size to work with. She is a tiny power house! So from her measurements I created a custom dress form out of paper grocery bags, newspaper and duct tape. My solution proved to work great!
