Outer Layers

This series explores the jacket as a structural form — a second skin, an exoskeleton, a personal architecture. Each piece plays with balance: between softness and edge, elegance and function, story and shape.

Materials are gathered intuitively — some sourced from past lives (like a pair of painter’s pants worn by my partner), others selected for their resilience or resonance. A mustard canvas wrap jacket becomes a ritual object; a moto-style coat is crowned in a shoulder constellation of pom-poms; a denim hybrid is stitched from memory and use.

These garments live somewhere between sculpture and streetwear — an ongoing study in how outer layers can reflect inner states, histories, and transformations.
