Stitch by stitch, memory takes form.
What began as a quiet exploration during 2020 — a way to anchor myself in a time of uncertainty — has since become one of the most meaningful threads in my creative practice. Embroidery offered me a meditative space, a way to slow down and make meaning one stitch at a time. The intimacy of needle and thread felt both grounding and expansive, allowing me to translate emotion, memory, and form into cloth.
This new relationship with handwork led me to teach my first embroidery class through Path with Art, an experience that challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone and into a role of shared learning. Teaching this medium has deepened my connection to it — and reminded me again and again that the smallest gestures can hold profound power.
Here, I share my evolving journey through embroidery — from early studies to more recent works — as a living archive of both technical growth and emotional presence.
